☘Curry for March☘

      ☘☘☘☘ Get Ready for HOMEMADE CURRY  ☘☘☘☘


Happy pre-Spring!🌷 
I'm going to share a way to make curry from scratch!👩‍🍳
(gluten/dairy/sugar-free)

INGREDIENTS 

 Chicken

Carrots

Potatoes 

Onions

 Seasonings (see below)

Oil


DIRECTIONS

1. Cut chicken into pieces and put into frying pan with some oil


2. Season chicken with Curry powder and seasonings (Garlic powder, Cumin, Rosemary, Sea salt, Pepper, Ginger powder, Turmeric powder) 

3. Slice onions, carrots, potatoes

4. Cook the veggies: First, boil potatoes for a few minutes. Then add in the carrots and boil together. Then add in salt, garlic powder, curry powder, ginger, and turmeric to flavor. Add in half the onions for additional flavor.

5. Add second half of onions to the cooking chicken for sautéed flavor

6. Drain carrots/potatoes and mix in with the chicken and onions.  Sauté together for a couple minutes, adding in a little extra seasonings (esp. extra curry powder) to desired taste. Add a little extra oil if needed.

FINAL PRODUCT TIPS 
Veggies: Potatoes and carrots should be soft but not mushy.  
Meat: Chicken should have no pink left, but be careful to not overcook or it will be dry (I only say this because that tends to be my own struggle! 😂).  
Seasonings: I did not use measurements for the seasonings, as I was experimenting, however, if it is helpful: I went lighter on cumin, ginger, turmeric, and pepper; medium on garlic powder and rosemary garlic sea salt; and heavier on curry powder.😉

Serve over Rice if desired!

I am sure there are many ways to make curry chicken from scratch, but I was excited to discover that this combination of seasonings was delicious!! 😀
